Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test is conducted for the admission of Rajasthan domicile students to the Management institutions in Rajasthan under the quota of the state. It is also known as RMAT. Rajasthan Technical University conducts the aptitude test held every year. Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test (RMAT) is usually held in June. The Test is only valid for fifty two unaided/private institutions and six aided/government institutions.

Eligibility RMAT 2010

Candidates willing to sit for the Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test 2010 should be a graduate or equivalent from a recognized university. The students should have a minimum aggregate of 50%. Only 45% marks is required for SC/ST and OBC candidates. Students appearing for their final year examination are also eligible to apply. Besides these educational qualifications, candidates also need to be a domicile of Rajasthan or a son/daughter of a Govt. employee serving in Rajasthan. Those who have been studying in Rajasthan for the past five years in the state of Rajasthan are also eligible to apply.

Application Procedures of RMAT

The application forms can be collected from the selected branches of Punjab National Bank in person on payment of Rs.1000. The selected branches are located at Alwar (Shivaji Park), Kota (Aerodrome Circle), Ajmer (Kachahari Road), Jaipur, Jodhpur (Shastri Nagar), Bikaner (Rani Bazar), Chittorgarh (Pratap Nagar), Bhilwara (Bhupal Ganj), Bharatpur (Rajendra Nagar) and Sri Ganganagar (Birbal Chowk).

The duly filled in application forms should be sent to the coordinator, RMAT-2010, Rajasthan Technical University, Rawatbhata Road, Kota (Rajasthan)-324022 by registered or speed post.

You can also drop your application form at the drop box placed in the RMAT office.

RMAT Test pattern

The examination held is of two hours duration and consists of two hundred multiple choice questions. Candidates are requested to write the correct answers in the OMR sheet provided with HB pencil. Marks are not deducted for wrong answers.

a. Payment of applicable fees:
i. Candidates presently residing in our area of operation i.e., the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy and Warangal, should pay the fees in any of the Branches of Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB).
ii. Candidates from all other places can pay the fees in any State Bank of India Branches.
iii. There are separate challan forms for payment in APGVB Branches and SBI Branches, which the candidates should download and take printout by clicking on the respective links given below:

In challan forms, the Branch code and name have to be filled up. List of APGVB Branch with codes are given in the Link. In respect of SBI, candidates have to find out the code from the branches, where candidates wish to make payment.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has ordered a special audit of the accounts of Bank of Rajasthan (BoR) following investigations into
irregular dealings by the private sector bank.

The regulator has appointed Deloitte Haskins & Sells to audit the bank’s lending policy among other things while the parent accounting and consulting firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu has been hired to audit the information security system of the bank.

Special audits are rare and directed by RBI only under exceptional circumstances.

A week ago, BoR made news after RBI imposed a Rs 25-lakh fine on the bank following a string of violations. RBI pulled up the bank following violations in property transactions, anti-money laundering norms, irregularities in the conduct of accounts of a corporate group and failure to provide certain documents sought by RBI.,.......For more Click here
