Introduction:
The Andhra University conducts the Education Common Entrance Test (ED.CET) for admission into B.Ed regular course in colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh. Ed.CET is conducted under the aegis of APSCHE, Hyderabad.
Eligibility: For admission to the B.Ed Courses through the Ed.CET, candidates need to pass their B.A/B.Sc./B.Com/B.C.A./B.Sc.(Home Science)/ B.B.M with at least 45% (pass for SC/ST) marks in aggregate from any recognized university. However those who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. Candidates should also not be less than 17 years of age as 1st July 2010.
Obtaining the Application form of Ed.CET 2010:The application forms and information booklet along with the ICR Bio-data form can be obtained from all the Head Post-Offices, University Post Offices in A.P., e-seva Centres in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijaywada, Tirupathi, Warangal, Anantpur and Guntur cities on cash payment of Rs. 150/-.

Submitting the Ed.CET Application Form:
The duly filled application form should reach the Convener, Ed. CET 2010, Ground floor, Vijaynagar Palaca, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, 530017. Those who have downloaded the application form need to send two-passport size photographs along with a demand draft of Rs. 150/- drawn from any nationalized bank in favor of The Secretary, APSCHE payable at Hyderabad.
