Introduction:

The Andhra University conducts the Education Common Entrance Test (ED.CET) for admission into B.Ed regular course in colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh. Ed.CET is conducted under the aegis of APSCHE, Hyderabad.

Eligibility: For admission to the B.Ed Courses through the Ed.CET, candidates need to pass their B.A/B.Sc./B.Com/B.C.A./B.Sc.(Home Science)/ B.B.M with at least 45% (pass for SC/ST) marks in aggregate from any recognized university. However those who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply. Candidates should also not be less than 17 years of age as 1st July 2010.

Obtaining the Application form of Ed.CET 2010:The application forms and information booklet along with the ICR Bio-data form can be obtained from all the Head Post-Offices, University Post Offices in A.P., e-seva Centres in Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijaywada, Tirupathi, Warangal, Anantpur and Guntur cities on cash payment of Rs. 150/-.

Submitting the Ed.CET Application Form:

The duly filled application form should reach the Convener, Ed. CET 2010, Ground floor, Vijaynagar Palaca, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, 530017. Those who have downloaded the application form need to send two-passport size photographs along with a demand draft of Rs. 150/- drawn from any nationalized bank in favor of The Secretary, APSCHE payable at Hyderabad.

How to Submit ICET 2010 Application forms:
Filled in application forms along with the prescribed documents should be posted to The Convener, ICET -2010, Andhra University, College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam – 530003 through Registered post or Speed post.

Last date for submission of application forms without late fee is 5th April 2010 up to 5 PM
Last date for submission of application forms with a late fee of Rs. 500: 19th April 2010
Last date for submission of application forms with a late fee of Rs. 2000: 24th April 2010
Late fee should be in the form of DD taken in favor of ‘The secretary, APSCHE’, payable at Hyderabad and should be sent to the Convener, ICET 2010.

Online Registration

The applicant is to log-on to the website: www.isbm.edu.in and go to Apply Online. The applicant will take the printout of ISB&M Application Form, fill in all the necessary details, paste his/her recent photograph and sign across the photograph. The applicant is to enclose the Demand Draft of Rs. 1100/- in favour of “International School of Business & Media Training Pvt. Ltd.” payable at Pune and send it along with the Application Form by courier/registered post/speed post in any of the Admission Offices. Cheques will not be accepted. Once the Admissions Office receives the DD, the prospectus will be sent to the applicant by courier/speed-post.

Section - I: Civil Services of the mains results as following basis, 2009 held by the Union Public Service Commission in October – November, 2009, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified for Personality Test for selection to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.

Section - II:Candidature of these candidates is provisional subject to their being found eligible in all respects. The candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims pertaining to age, educational qualifications, community, physical handicap etc. at the time of the Personality Test. They are, therefore, advised to keep the said prescribed certificates ready.

Section - III: All the qualified candidates for Personality Test are required to download the Summary Sheet available on the Commission’s website http://www.upsc.gov.in and send the same duly filled in by speed post to the Under Secretary (Shri D.B. Das), Room No.423, Ayog Sachivalaya Building, Union Public Service Commission, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 within ten days from the date of declaration of result.

Personality Test of these candidates will commence from 22nd March, 2010. Personality Tests will be held in the Office of the Union Public Service Commission at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069. The date and time of Personality Test is being intimated to the qualified candidates individually. The date and time of Personality Test of candidates being called for Personality Test from 22.03.2010 to 06.04.2010 will be displayed on the Commission’s Website http://www.upsc.gov.in on 16th March, 2010 and the date and time of Personality Test of the remaining candidates will be displayed on 23rd March, 2010. Section - IV: No request for change in the date and time of the Personality Test intimated to the candidates will be entertained under any circumstances.

Section - VII: The mark-sheets of candidates who have not qualified, will be put on the Commission’s Website within 60 days from the date of publication of this result and will remain available on the Website for a period of 60 days.
