Hi friends.........Bank of India Recruiting Probationary Officers under Scale -I,II & III to fill 1083 vacancies.The bank had conducted written exam for 1750 Clerks during September 2009 & candidates are expecting results.Now,Bank of India has come up with another massive recruitment for Probationary Officers.

General Banking Officers (Scale I) - 460 posts
General Banking Officers (Scale II) - 386 posts

Date of Written exam(proposed) - 24.1.2010 (Jan 24th 2010)
Eligibility : for General Banking Officers(Scale I)
* Candidates must be between 21yrs to 30yrs (+5yrs for SC/ST &+3yrs for OBC)
* Graduate with atleast 60% marks from a recognized university
* Although fresher's can apply,candidates with experience in bank/finance will be preferred. Candidates must have working knowledge in computers
for Scale II : Candidate age - 21yrs to 33yrs (+5yrs for SC/ST &+3yrs for OBC)
* Graduate with atleast 60% marks OR PG with 50% marks OR PG degree/diploma in Management OR candidates with qualifications like CA,ICWA can apply.
* Experience of minimum 3yrs in bank/finance institutions(JAIIB/CAIIB qualification will be preferred)
for Scale III : Candidate age - 24yrs to 35yrs (+5yrs for SC/ST &+3yrs for OBC)
* Graduate with atleast 60% marks OR PG with 50% marks OR PG degree/diploma in Management OR candidates with qualifications like CA,ICWA can apply.
* Experience of minimum 5yrs in bank/finance institutions in Officer cadre(JAIIB / CAIIB qualification will be preferred)
Selection : The selection process will involve Written Test(Objective & Descriptive), & Interview.Candidates have to score atleast 40% in each of the objective test & 50% in descriptive test to qualify for Interview.There is negative mark of 0.25 for each wrong answer.based on the marks & ranking, candidates will be called for Interview in the ratio of 1:3(post:candidates).
* Read on the list of reference books,exam pattern & how to prepare for bank of India exam
Application : Candidates interested to apply for the post of Probationary Officer in Bank of India have to pay Rs.400(Gen/OBC/others)[No Fees for SC/ST] at any Bank of India branches using the challan given on the website on or before Nov 30th 2009.
* The transaction number has to be provided during the Online submission of application process.The printout of the application has to be submitted only during the Interview.
