Govt Of Punjab established Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology in 1995, visualizing the need of trained professionals in the arena of Textile and Garment Industry. An MOU was signed with the National institute of Fashion Technology New Delhi for steering and supporting in admission procedure faculty recruitment and training as well as curriculum scheduling and upgrading. Mohali, equipped with the conspicuously fast developing and already established garment industry . Lalru Dera Bassi and in the vicinity of Chandigarh became a preferred location for NIIFT to have its firm base and thus adding to the prestige and distinction of the famous city.

Accountant : (Rs.10300-34800 + Rs.3800/-GP)
Administrative Assistants (Rs.5910-20200 + Rs.1900/-GP)
Library Assistants: (Rs.10300-34800 + Rs.3600/-GP)
Lab Assistants (Rs.5910-20200 + Rs.1900/-GP) .
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- The Diploma/Degree and PG Diploma/Degree shall be of at least 3-4 years and 2 years duration respectively.
- All Degrees and Diplomas prescribed for the teaching positions shall be a full time course from Institute of National/International repute.
- Preference will be given to candidates possessing combination of prescribe qualification . Number of Posts may be increased or decreased at the discretion of NIIFT.
- Management reserves the right to shortlist the candidates to be called for interview. The order of merit of the selected candidate would remain valid for one year.
