Deputy Jailors & Assistant Matron Recruitment 2012:

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for recruitment to the following posts. The number of vacancies indicated is only provisional and is liable to alteration.

Deputy Jailor in Prisons and Correctional Services Department:

Eligible Criteria For the Post Deputy Jailor:

Candidate height must not be less than 168 cms.Chest must not be less than 87 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Age Limit: Eligible Candidates must have attained the age limit of 21 years and must not above 30 years as on 01-July-2011 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1981 and not later than 01-July-1990.

Eligible Criteria For the Post Assistant Matron:

Candidates height must not be less than 164 centimeters and Chest must not be less than 83 cms round the chest on full inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Age Limit: Must not have below of 21 years and must not above 25 years as on 01-July-2011 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 02-July-1986 and not later than 01-July-1990.

Education Qualification :

Degree or any other equivalent qualification.

Written Examination Details:

Paper I-English: 100marks
Paper II-Telugu: 100marks
Paper III-Arithmetic and Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability (Objective in nature : 200 Marks
Paper IV-General Studies (Objective in nature): 200marks

Scale of pay :

(a) Deputy Jailer – 13,660 –38,570/-
(b) Assistant Matron : Rs. 11,860 –34,050/-
